EXAMINATION & GRADING SYSTEM

A student shall be deemed to have passed a course only after the student has sat for an examination on that course and obtained a minimum prescribed pass mark.

All courses in the programme attract a written examination.

Each examination is of two (2) hours duration.

Grading system:

1. Class attendance at lectures      15 %

2. Assignments and Test                  25 %

3. Semester Examination                 60 %

Total: 100 %

Computation of Course Result:

70 % and above         A             Distinction

60 % - 69 % B Credit

50 % -  59  % C Merit

40 % -  49  % D Pass

00 % -  39 % F Fail
